About Red Parka

Tasmanian artists Jennifer Cossins and Tracy Colhoun founded Red Parka on a mutual love of creativity, nature, and each other. Their vibrant creations showcase their shared passion for bushwalking, wilderness, animals, conservation, and of course colour. From humble beginnings as a local market stall, Red Parka is now a flourishing Hobart business that fosters connection to the earth through art.

The Brief

Red Parka engaged with Kings Digital to redesign and develop their Shopify ecommerce website.

High on the wishlist for Red Parka’s website overhaul was an improved user experience for customers and internal staff, to build visibility, diversify from their physical store, and to showcase their artwork and core values. Red Parka’s owners Jen and Tracy are both artists, and we were excited to help them design a website to reflect the creative, colourful, and conscious aesthetic that Red Parka is known for.

A FUN & COLOURFUL DESIGN

Adding graphics designed by Jen and using the brand’s colours and assets, we lifted the previous website background to something bright and fresh that represents Red Parka’s mission, personality, and maintains their overall brand consistency.

BESPOKE SHOPIFY E-COMMERCE WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Kings Digital constructed a dedicated wholesale section, restructured the website menu, and added website navigation and site map. We also added a product breakdown of categories to provide better structure to the site.

Our team turned around a bespoke shopify website design and development on a tight deadline, which enabled Red Parka to present their brand with a physical exhibition booth at a Melbourne gift exhibition- the first for them in over a year due to covid. The Red Parka team thoroughly enjoyed the event, where they were able to physically reconnect with the mainland and proudly present their brand with the knowledge that their online presence was echoing their values and brand personality.
